1. When you cut yourself, clean and bandage it.

2. Do not start smoking cigarettes because the boy who broke your heart does.

3. When you want to kill yourself, don’t.

4. Cutting calories doesn’t do anything but make you unhappy.

5. If the number on the scale rises, throw it out.

6. The first girl you ever “date” is going to call the police on you even though she lives three thousand miles away, because you’re going to tell her that you’re not in a good mental state shortly after you’ve “broken up”.

7. When you want to kill yourself, don’t.

8. Break up with the boy who says, “You had a sexy phase!” when you tell him that you’ve dated a girl before.

9. Dating your friends is not always the best idea, but you can still be friends after you’ve broken up with her.

10. Your mother will try to become your best friend because you’re leaving for college soon. Let her.

11. When you want to kill yourself, don’t.

12. Your closest friend will stop talking to you when you leave for college.

13. It’s okay to cry.

14. When you want to kill yourself, don’t.

15. When you cut yourself again, clean and bandage it. Do not be ashamed.

16. Your anxiety is going to try and control your entire life. Tell it to shut the hell up, because you’re trying to live and that task is hard enough as it is.

17. The past has a funny way of coming back in the form of you developing a crush on another friend.

18. Try not to hate yourself for breaking up with your boyfriend.

19. If you’re still smoking, apologize silently to your mother.

20. When you want to kill yourself, don’t.

My Enemy by Hans Zimmer/The Magnificent Six — 7,261 plays

I LOVE THIS MOVIE.

Electro’s music was one of the best choices they could have possibly made.

Anonymous asked : The upside down cross is the cross of Saint Peter, which is Christian, you fucking moron. So much for 'know your information'. Oh, and the upside down pentagram isn't Satanic either. It's the Wiccan symbol for Fate.

bukibun:

' L_'

I do know both those things. Instead of assuming I don’t know these things maybe it would have been polite to ask first. Instead of calling me a fucking moron.

But the upside down cross is not just associated just with Saint Peter. Signs and symbols change over time. But the fact that you bring that point up only validates my point further. Most people wear upside down crosses thinking they’re so evil and satanic when the symbol originally came from when Saint Peter wanted to be crucified upside down cause he didn’t feel as worthy to be crucified the same way as Jesus.

And secondly.

Pentagram - A pentagram (sometimes known as a pentalpha or pentangle or a star pentagon) is the shape of a five-pointed star drawn with five straight strokes.

Its still a pentagram no matter what direction the two points at the top/bottom are facing. An inverted pentagram is still a pentagram. So a pentagram is not just a “Wiccan” thing.

You can also use pentagrams in witch craft without being of Wiccan/Pagan faith ect.

**edit

image

***A reversed pentagram, with two points projecting upwards, is a symbol of evil and attracts sinister forces because it overturns the proper order of things and demonstrates the triumph of matter over spirit.

image

each point representing earth, fire, water, air, and spirit

Wicca are pro good magic(k) (white) so this is what you normally see, its also a symobol of protection.

image

Thats not to say they wouldn’t use something like this for black magic ect. But the three folds rule typically keeps a lot of witches from using black magic.

**EDIT

I ALSO JUST WANNA SAY SYMBOLS CAN/HAVE BEEN RELATIVE TO THE PERSON(S) AND THEIR FAITH. SO WHAT MIGHT MEAN ONE THING TO ONE PERSON COULD MEAN SOMETHING ELSE TO ANOTHER. THAT IS OKAY. A LOT OF RELIGION IS SELF INTERPRETATION ANYWAY FUCK.

I love watching people get schooled.

I actually believe artists and scientists think very similarly. Complex, abstract thought? They both have that down. It’s all about where that thinking takes you after that.

Words cannot describe how much I love this post.

If people really like this concept, check out the play “Picasso at the Lapin Agile” It’s about Picasso (duh) and Einstein meeting in a bar one night.

Also, Elvis is there.

50sdirector:

raybucho:

okay, so what happens DIRECTLY before this bit of dialogue needs needs NEEDS to be talked about.

This entire episode is all about Batman and Orion shitting all over how The Flash does things and how flippant and aloof he is and so they all go to his city to try to stop some of his criminals from trying to kill the flash.

And when Flash finds this villain in the bar Batman and Orion both try to beat the info out of him and flash calls them off and sits right down next to him and just asks if he’s gone off his meds and lets him vent about what’s going on in his life.  And at the end he tells the Flash that he’ll start taking his medicine again and where the rest of the villains are that are trying to kill him.  ONLY THEN does Flash tell him to hand himself in.

once Flash is assured that he’s okay and not going to hurt anyone else.  it flies in the face of Batman’s fear and Orion’s brutality, it throws both of their brutal real-world techniques out of the water… because the Flash just wants people to be happy and safe, not to strike fear or defeat foes.

and that makes him pretty amazing

The flash is awesome.
